Disqus Office 2.0
Posted on September 29 by kimweisbergFinally! The moment you’ve all been waiting for! The internet-unveiling of the new and improved Disqus office! Ta-DOW! For part 1 of this epic story, click here.
We worked with a truly fantastic design team (Hi, Melissa and Seth!) to get this place looking less like that first apartment you get when you graduate from college and more like the sweet workspace of a growing startup.
I’ll just let the pictures speak for themselves, since I know that’s what you all came here for anyway :)

Rad new entry area made from moveable cardboard accordion pieces.

The entry/casual seating area, used for informal meetings and guest seating. You can catch a glimpse of where we all sit to the left.

Robot wall. Need I say more?

New lunch/hangout area. The wall on the left is a magnetic art gallery, where employees can easily change the artwork whenever they want to feature something new.

A nice closeup of the table, and one of our designers chatting with the engineers.

The newsprint wall on the right is full of actual quotes from Disqus users.
Well, folks, that’s about it for our high-def super-rad photo tour. Anything else you want to see? Any comments or questions about our office or the redesign process? Let me know in the comments!
And if you think you could get some awesome work done here, well, perhaps you should check out our open positions!
