Improved Reaction Reporting

We’ve enhanced the way we pull reactions from all your favorite social networks making it more efficient and timely. If you feel that reactions are missing from a post, simply click the Report Reactions link above the comment embed. This will queue your site to be rescanned by our reaction bots.

Improved Spam Reporting

We’ve been monitoring and making improvments to way we recognize and mark spam. Monday we pushed some significant changes to help remove undesirable content globally on Disqus. To help this process along be sure that you’re marking spam comments as spam. For more information about spam prevention read this helpful guide.

Automatically Close Comments After # of Days

Publishers can now set a certain time period in which comments are automatically closed. Go ahead and try it out here.

Updated: In Reply to

Some reply threads can become very long and to reference a comment you click the “in reply to name” link. This would zip you back up to the original comment. Now instead of loosing your place on the page, a popup window will show the previous comment.
