We’re incredibly excited to announce the launch of our newly redesigned website.
It was time. We last conducted a redesign of the Disqus website more than seven years ago. A TON has changed since then—and we wanted our new website to reflect those changes and do a better job of helping our customers understand who we are and what we offer.
Since we last redesigned our website, we've added a plethora of new product features and capabilities, including Advanced Moderation settings, more comprehensive analytics, innovative engagement tools, and robust monetization options.
Our new look allows us to put the spotlight on all of these features—and more—so that visitors to our site can stay up-to-date on all of the essential product developments and information.
What’s new?
- All-new, expanded platform overview pages that highlight our product’s most important features and capabilities
- Updated Pricing, About, and Contact pages with additional information about our different plans, offerings, and how to get in touch with us
- Redesigned Disqus Blog with a more intuitive layout and visible content categories
- Improved overall site navigation
- Streamlined login experience for existing users
For existing Disqus publishers, commenters, and moderators
We wanted to make it easier for existing users to navigate our site and get to where they want to go faster than before. To achieve this, we revamped our Login functionality.
Previously, users who logged in via our website remained on the website after entering their credentials.
Now, we’re offering a Login dropdown menu that lets you select which admin portal you’d like to access: publisher admin or your commenter notifications.
After you select which admin portal you'd like to access and enter your login credentials, you’ll be taken directly to the appropriate page.
The Publishers dropdown option will take site administrators and owners into their publisher admin portals. (Note: site moderators will also choose the Publishers option to be taken directly to the moderation admin area for forums they moderate.)
The Commenter dropdown option will take users directly to their personal account homepage.
As always, publishers will be able to navigate between the commenter and publisher portals after they log in.
What’s next
This is just the beginning of our journey to ensure that our website is as up-to-date, resourceful, and user-friendly as possible. Over the next few months, we’ll continue updating our site by improving existing content and building brand-new pages.
There’s always more work to be done! For now, we encourage you to take a moment to explore our new site, and afterward—please let us know what you think! We want to make sure our new website provides the best possible experience for all of you.
