Recommendations

We’re thrilled to announce the release of the new beta version of Standalone Recommendations! This update to the previously released Recommendations feature now allows publishers to place the Recommendations unit anywhere on the page and on any pageeven pages without Disqus comments present.

That’s right, you can now have article recommendations on your home page, at the top of your articles, or wherever you choose.  If you do not have recommendations enabled yet, you can do so here!

How do Recommendations work?

Our Recommendations engine looks for discussions within your site and will display the ones with recent activity. You can set a date threshold in your settings to make sure only the newest content is recommended, and you’re also able to customize the look and feel of your Recommendations unit

Click here for specific settings, questions about why an article may not be appearing in Recommendations, or more questions about functionality.

Why recommendations?

Including a content recirculation unit on your site leads to additional pageviews to your other content and increases time spent on site. Your readers will appreciate suggestions for other relevant content, especially when it’s placed near content they like and are already engaging with. Don’t miss an opportunity to enhance the reader experience on your site!

What do you think?

This feature is still in beta, so we’re all ears on your thoughts and feedback after integrating Standalone Recommendations on your site. You can also check out Standalone Recommendations in action on our blog page found here

So, what do you think? Tell us in the comments below!

Something Powerful

Tell The Reader More

The headline and subheader tells us what you're offering, and the form header closes the deal. Over here you can explain why your offer is so great it's worth filling out a form for.
